Very new to surface drives and have a similar setup... 14HP Kohler Copperhead on an old 1436 jon w/ 16" transom. For the life of me I cannot get this thing to run the speeds yall are getting. I try to change the trim and that does not seem to help. Maybe it is a balance/loading issue. ANY help is appreciated on how yall load this set up.
